The workshop will cover some of the aspects of the Wine Tourism Toolkit which was launched earlier in 2019 as a first in the South African wine industry to assist wineries in establishing or expanding their wine tourism footprint.
The Toolkit provides information on running a wine tourism business in eight sections, along with case studies from South Africa, Australia and California. Each chapter also contains practical business tools such as checklists and templates.
The content was developed by Wine Tourism Australia and Vinpro with input from a number of local experts and consultants. Thanks to funding from the Cape Winelands District Municipality, this easy-to-use resource is available to wine cellars free of cost.
Both the workshop and Toolkit are great resources for you as wine farm owner, marketing manager, tasting room or front-of-house team members or your winemaker.
We are able to accommodate 50 attendees at each workshop and due to limited seating availability, participation will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to make the workshops as affordable as possible, Vinpro has subsidised part of the costs.
